$invested_USD = USD invested in past date;
$historical_NODE_price = Price of NODE in past date;
$quantity_NODE = Quantity of NODE in past = $amount invested / $price_on_that_day;
$price_NODE = Current price of NODE;
$USD_today = ($price_NODE * $quantity_NODE) - $invested_USD;
$ROI = ($USD_today/$invested_USD)*100;
