$quantity_BITCNY = Quantity of BITCNY in past = $amount invested / $price_on_that_day;
$price_BITCNY = Current price of BITCNY;
$USD_today = ($price_BITCNY * $quantity_BITCNY) - $invested_USD;
$ROI = ($USD_today/$invested_USD)*100;
